Job Description

Summary
Under general direction this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers from the Unit office equipment and plant Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. Full-time temporary position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fertilizer truck fill application equipment and support plant operations as needed
- May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities
- Maintain and keep trucks clean
- Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding pump and engine overhauls painting and general housekeeping responsibilities
- Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
- Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects attending training sessions providing back-up when needed etc.

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills & Relevant Experience
- Truck driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus
- Knowledge of farm operations is a plus
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record
- HazMat Endorsement preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be willing and able to work Ag Industry Hours:overtime and weekends to meet seasonal demands
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
