Event Sales Executive
The Event Sales Executive is responsible for generating and converting event-related business opportunities ensuring smooth planning and flawless execution of meetings banquets weddings and social functions. This role focuses on client relationship management sales conversion and effective coordination with internal departments to deliver memorable guest experiences while maximizing revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Actively solicit new event business through sales calls networking referrals and follow-ups.
- Prepare and present proposals quotations and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Maximize sales opportunities by upselling banquet packages F&B options and value-added services.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and ensure timely conversion of inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients wedding planners travel agents and social event organizers.
- Conduct site inspections and pre-event meetings with clients to understand needs and expectations.
- Provide personalized service ensuring clear communication and professional handling of all client inquiries.
- Implement effective post-event follow-ups to secure repeat and referral business.
Event Coordination & Execution
- Liaise with the Groups & Events Banquet Operations Culinary and F&B teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Communicate all event details accurately in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Attend pre-event briefings and when necessary support on-site coordination to guarantee flawless service.
- Handle last-minute changes and ensure quick professional resolution of client concerns.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate client records and contracts in the CRM system.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly sales reports highlighting pipeline progress and conversion ratios.
- Track event revenue average checks and covers to support forecasting and budgeting.
Financial Responsibility
- Achieve assigned revenue targets through proactive sales and upselling strategies.
- Ensure pricing and contract negotiations align with company profitability guidelines.
- Monitor payment schedules deposits and invoicing to support financial accuracy.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Groups & Events and Sales Managers to align on strategy and key accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing for promotional materials event packages and social media campaigns.
- Support banquet operations and service teams during peak periods or high-profile events.
