What Youll Be Doing

As the Consultant Data Risk and Reporting you will play a pivotal role in building strong relationships within the Chief Data Office and across Strategic Business Units and Functional Groups contributing to the expansion and evolution of enterprise data risk reporting and insights. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data risk metrics including their development implementation reporting and ongoing management. This encompasses assisting in defining calculation details understanding the intent and rationale for metric inclusion supporting threshold identification and ensuring effective visual presentation for reporting. You will lead the automation of metrics using tools such as Power BI and Power Automate oversee Business As Usual (BAU) reporting to key audiencesincluding Executive Data Governance Councils and the CIBC Boardand trigger oversight processes in response to metric breaches or addition you will conduct periodic reviews to ensure metrics remain relevant and aligned with evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Your role will also involve supporting the definition and creation of metrics that provide enterprise-level insights including establishing aggregate calculation methods and contributing to the introduction and creation of new data as needed across Business Units. You will be responsible for collecting this information and visually representing results for executive audiences. Collaboration with stakeholders across Business Units and within the Chief Data Office will be essential to support the development automation and ongoing management of metrics and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will bring a foundational background in mathematics and/or statistics along with experience in metrics creation development implementation and reporting including generating actionable insights for leadership.
