Job Description
Under the supervision of the Deputy Director the Digital Strategy Consultant will play a key strategic role within the multidisciplinary marketing team that supports all business units.
The consultant will be responsible for designing planning and guiding cross-functional digital strategies offering a centralized view of objectives and performance across business lines.
The marketing team covers six main areas:
- Online Advertising
- Content Strategy
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- Social Media Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Analytics and Reporting
This position is focused exclusively on strategy (no operational tasks) and will complement the existing digital strategist on the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital strategy capable of developing innovative cohesive and goal-aligned approaches to support organizational growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partner Support
- Build strong and long-term relationships as a trusted strategic partner adding value through digital expertise.
- Provide strategic guidance to help stakeholders define goals and identify digital opportunities.
- Develop and implement digital strategies that drive growth and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate digital strategy performance making adjustments as needed for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports highlighting results and opportunities for optimization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes to enhance service efficiency and strategic impact.
- Act as a key point of contact and coordinator for management requests ensuring timely execution.
Cross-Functional Projects
- Serve as the central coordinator for multi-sector digital strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including business units product teams and project managers.
- Create synergies and leverage common needs across departments.
Digital Strategy Leadership
- Define and implement SEM strategies aligned with business goals including forecasting and measurable KPIs.
- Lead major digital initiatives such as campaigns website redesigns A/B testing and segmentation.
- Support the Head of Media Practice in developing comprehensive marketing plans.
- Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing and strategy.
- Strong expertise in digital campaigns SEO and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates rigor autonomy proactivity and analytical thinking.
- Curious adaptable and committed to continuous learning.
- Results-oriented with a focus on optimization and innovation.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Understanding of business challenges in the insurance and savings industry.
- Excellent French (spoken and written) and functional English.
