Our Governance risk and compliance (GRC) team helps our clients better manage their risks so that they are better able to anticipate change adapt and pursue opportunities with confidence. A career in GRC gives you the opportunity to work with a wide range of organisations to develop or enhance their governance risk or compliance management practices and ultimately add value by improving business resilience and effectiveness. We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to join our team in Tmaki Makaurau / Auckland.

As a Senior Analyst in GRC your day-to-day responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Working under the guidance of experienced Managers and Partners to deliver GRC services to clients including aspects of relationship management

  • Delivering GRC services such as:

    • Assessing the maturity of governance risk and compliance management practices and developing clear strategies to achieve desired future state

    • Developing or enhancing governance risk management and compliance frameworks building the trust and confidence of key internal and external stakeholders

    • Supporting organisations to identify assess and report risks including through running workshops and developing high quality insights and reporting

  • Learning leadership key business development commercial management skills through on the job coaching

  • Coaching junior staff on engagement teams and aiding their career development

  • Teaming with other subject matter experts to blend GRC skills with other technical disciplines to bring tailored solutions to complex problems.

Ng pkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience - for the Senior Analyst role

  • 3 years experience in a GRC Line 2 or Risk role within a Professional Services Firm or inhouse Line 2/ risk function

  • Experience developing implementing or assessing governance risk and compliance structures and frameworks

  • GRC experience in the financial services sector is preferred

  • Strong analytical and established report writing skills

  • Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising appropriately
