A well-established organisation based between York and Malton on the A64 is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their established finance team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up todays holiday including Bank Holidays with typical working hours of 3040 hours per week Monday to Friday. Full-time part-time or term-time hours will be considered.
As a Finance Assistant you will be:
- Handling transactional finance duties
- Maintaining ledgers
- Completing regular bank reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Supporting colleagues within a small friendly finance team
To be successful in this Finance Assistant role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar finance/accounts role
- Confidence to work independently and pick things up quickly
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team. We would be particularly keen to speak to people who are currently working as Accounts Assistants Bookkeepers Purchase Ledger Clerks Finance Assistants Finance Officers Accounts Payable or Sales Ledger and anyone with experience in transactional finance who could step into this role. The role is office-based with free parking on site (driving is essential due to the location).
Easily commutable from York Malton Pickering Easingwold Scarborough Harrogate Selby and the surrounding areas with direct access via the A64.
