We are looking for a Sales Manager Indian Market based at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong!

As a Sales Manager Indian Market we rely on you to:

  • Manage and service all accounts within the Indian market supporting the Director of Sales in achieving hotel revenue goals for rooms events restaurants YUN etc.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan tailored to the Indian market for both HK local and from India
  • Explore new sources of business by developing new contacts and maintain a robust client database
  • Conduct sales activities including but not limited to client meetings and accounts development to ensure exceptional service and relationship management
  • Prepare weekly sales call reports entertainment schedule and weekly call plan
  • Monitor local and international market trends as well as competitors sales activities to prepare appropriate strategies for review with the Director of Sales
  • Liaise with Events Management Team and other stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences and exceed clients expectation for any Indian related events; proactively follow up on pre & post-event feedback
  • Promote seasonal packages and any promotion to major supporters

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management Events Management or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant hotel sales experience in handling Indian market would be an advantage
  • Experience in account maintenance and development
  • Pleasant personality with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong strategic sales leadership skills
  • Well versed in computer applications as well as hotel sales and events systems
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English fluent in Hindi and Cantonese would be an advantage
