Job Summary
The Business Development Manager position is integrated in a Team of Business Development Managers reporting to a Business Development Director East Europe. Now we are looking for a dynamic results-oriented and creative professional to join this team.
You will be working across Romania Bulgaria and Moldova and will be mapping the geography identifying potential prospects executing thestrategic plan of Tetra Pak and further business objectives.
The position will be based inBucharest Romania.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
- Expand Tetra Paks customer base either as new direct customers with their own industrial facilities or as new brand owners manufacturing through co-packers
- Map relevant food industry categories in the markets of Romania Bulgaria Moldova according to market growth initiatives prioritise according to attractiveness & business potential for Tetra Pak and propose a prospecting plan
- Contact prospects to develop understanding of the customers needs and overall business (marketplace channel retailer consumer competitive environment strategy productivity profitability the across value chain)
- Process the information obtained and prepare a business proposal by using Tetra Pak packaging material filling machines secondary equipment processing equipment and services with the goal to reinforce the strategic alignment between Tetra Pak and the prospect
- Prepare final quotations and contracts
- Ensure alignment with functional counterparts in the Market Company (Processing Sales Retail Management Marketing Communication)
- Represent Tetra Pak Romania to the external stakeholders when/if required
We believe you have
- University degree in Business Administration Economics Marketing or Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in food and/or drinks industry preferably in Business Development role. Experience in canning food industry is an advantage
- Fluency in Romanian and English Bulgarian is an advantage
- Strategic vision to identify potential routes to build a common agenda with a prospect creating different alternative scenarios
- Capacity to learn and make questions to understand the existing business and the potential business opportunities
- Creativity to explore the right angle to build a project in a prospect avoiding roadblocks
