Job Type: 12 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $38/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Long Term Substitute Teacher to provide classroom instruction and support for students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience strong classroom management skills and the ability to collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success.
Education & Skills
Responsibilities
Deliver daily instruction aligned with curriculum and student IEP goals.
Implement lesson plans and adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Provide effective classroom management to create a safe and productive learning environment.
Monitor student progress collect data and provide feedback to staff and administrators.
Support accommodations and modifications per IEP requirements.
Collaborate with general education teachers paraprofessionals and support staff to promote inclusive education.
Maintain accurate records of attendance assignments and student performance.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school staff about student progress.
Participate in IEP meetings team discussions and professional development as required.
Ensure compliance with federal state and district special education guidelines.
