Responsibilities

Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist committed to optimizing patient outcomes Join our collaborative fast-paced environment!

Youll deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services making a direct patient impact collaborating across disciplines and guiding future pharmacy professionals.

You will:

  • Clinical Documentation:Document activities and interventions (consults patient teachings).
  • Order Verification & Dispensing:Interpret verify enter label and dispense medications accurately and timely.
  • Quality Assurance:Rigorously verify/check medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
  • Expert Drug Information:Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals.
  • Problem Resolution:Resolve drug-related problems by consulting with healthcare providers; clarify orders and assist in drug selection/therapeutic regimens.
  • Clinical Services:Provide basic clinical services for all age groups as required by policy.
  • System & Team Management:Maintain knowledge of automated systems; provide direction/guidance to technicians.
  • Education & Mentorship:Participate in training/mentoring pharmacy students interns technicians residents and other professionals. (May serve as Residency Program Director/Coordinator.)
  • Compliance & Ongoing Education:Adhere to regulatory requirements; complete mandatory system/department education.
  • Patient Counseling:Provide comprehensive patient counseling and drug information.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring:

  • Profound Pharmaceutical Knowledge:Strong grasp of pharmacy services practice concepts laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional Clinical Judgment:Ability to assess complex medication profiles and make critical decisions.
  • Superior Communication & Leadership:Effectively consult teach and collaborate; guide and mentor.
  • Required Education:Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Required Licensure & Certifications:Oregon Pharmacist License BLS-CPR.
  • Preferred:ACLS.
