Job Description Summary
The Imaging Business purchases over $2B of raw materials annually from approximately 1110 suppliers. As the largest component of operating expenses (around 35% of sales) this presents a significant opportunity to support identification of cost productivity and reduce the margin gap with competitors.This internship role will provide foundational finance support to the Imaging VCP and Sourcing Leaders contributing to cost optimization and project execution. The intern will gain exposure to key financial processes supply chain dynamics and strategic sourcing initiatives. This is a learning opportunity designed to build analytical skills business acumen and cross-functional collaboration capabilities in a global healthcare environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support analysis of material logistics and labor spend to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and key performance indicators for VCP and Sourcing teams
- Help track project benefits and ensure alignment with financial forecasts
- Participate in quarterly pacing and forecasting activities for productivity initiatives
- Assist in standard setting processes for material costs
- Collaborate with operating teams to support productivity tracking and reporting
- Help maintain visibility into material purchase prices
- Perform basic analytics on material availability and potential shortages
- Support sourcing strategy assessments and supplier analysis
- Help with closing activities for purchase price variance and sourcing-related costs
- Assist in sourcing analytics and metric reporting (e.g. direct material deflation AP days to pay)
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- Strong interest in Supply Chain and Sourcing Finance
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced global environment
