Job Description
*We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the United States. Must be able to support Eastern Time Zone*
We are seeking a Data Migration Expert to join our team and lead end-to-end data migration initiatives across enterprise systems. This role is critical to ensuring smooth transitions from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based and SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data mapping cleansing validation and migration execution as well as strong knowledge of industry best practices for large-scale system transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning design and execution of data migration strategies for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business technical and vendor teams to assess migration scope risks and dependencies.
- Develop and optimize migration scripts ETL processes and automation workflows as required.
- Perform data profiling cleansing and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct validation reconciliation and quality checks post-migration.
- Document migration approach processes and lessons learned for future reuse.
- Provide technical guidance on data governance compliance and security during migration.
- Support cutover activities including rollback planning and issue remediation.
What you must have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret Clearance required due to contract requirements
- 5 years of hands-on experience in data migration ETL or database engineering.
- 3 years of experience with SQL managing data in relational databases and common ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend SSIS Pentaho).
- 3 years of experience with migrations to cloud-based systems (AWS Azure Salesforce ServiceNow etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of data modeling schema mapping and integration concepts and best practices.
- Proven track record of successful migration projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving troubleshooting and communication skills.
- MUST RESIDE in the United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.) as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
- US Citizens due to federal contract requirements.
Location & Travel
- Flexible location (remote/hybrid options available).
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
What we would like you to have:
- Experience with federal/state government or regulated industry migrations.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for data migration.
- Project management or Agile delivery experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
