Coordinates and manages compliance activities for the assigned affiliate in the assigned division. Evaluates existing and evolving healthcare and privacy compliance ethics and related legislation and regulations and other marketplace/industry dynamics to determine requirements for Roche policies and procedures. Assess the employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner against the Companys Policies Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
Manages and completes internal and external reporting regarding the affiliates healthcare privacy ethics and related compliance. Responds to inquiries and provides guidance and advice on compliance and resources to support business operations team and individual adherence. Where observed escalates actual or potential compliance violations or other issues to relevant colleagues or management according to local regional and/or global policies and procedures.
Role Responsibilities:
Operational
Responsible for assessing compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner against the Companys Policies Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e. assessment results) activities in concur during claim processing
Escalates issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate (where required)
Support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process (e.g. review manuals return reason coding etc.)
In collaboration with Reporting Line Manager make appropriate recommendation to HOD for process improvement and be part of the solution provision activities
Qualifications and Experience
University degree or equivalent experience or above (prefer business law or finance related major)
More than 2 years experience in compliance reviews or its equivalent and its implementation in a highly regulated environment or in audit firms
Strong analytical skills be able to assess the facts with professional skepticism
Strong communications skills Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese as this role will required to support Roche Japan counterpart
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
