The SUD Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of the SUD team and providing clinical oversight of the services provided.This service provides structured individual and group addiction activities and are provided at an outpatient program designed to assist adult a time-limited multi-faceted approach treatment service for adultsto begin recovery and learn skills for recovery services are provided during day and evening hours to enable beneficiaries to maintain residence in their community continue to work or go to school and to be a part of their family life.
Job Duties Include:
- Ensure services meet the service definition of Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) and Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Program (SACOT)
- Direct the day to day clinical operations. Review and approve group materials and lessons plans
- Lead daily organizational staff meetings and treatment planning meetings to discuss consumer progress and changing needs
- Monitor group sessions for best practice; lead groups as needed
- Continuously evaluate the status of clients and do appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to changing needs Ensure measurement instruments (ASAM etc) are completed at required intervals of treatment
- Schedule staff work hours to ensure appropriate coverage for SUD services including day and evening groups holiday coverage for groups and crisis calls
- Direct and coordinate the client admission process
- Schedule admissions interviews for new consumers; work with Outpatient Program Manager to develop and coordinate initial assessment
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and make appropriate service recommendations
- Assign staff to complete consumer admission intake packet and complete the Person Centered Plan (PCP)
- Review and approve all consumers PCPs and Crisis Plan based on PCP/Crisis Plan requirements and expectations
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks on the computer including working with Microsoft 360 Excel Word and other basic programs.
- Valid drivers license auto insurance coverage and reliable transportation
- Pass criminal background check and other regulatory checks
- Provide proof of your education
Licensure/Certification Requirements: LCAS or LCASA
Education and Experience Required:
- A masters degree in Special Education Psychology Social Work or closely related Human Services area
- Must have one (1)year of professional SAS work experience and havethe knowledge skills and abilities required by the population to be served
- Exceptional written oral interpersonal and organizational skills
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word Excel Access and PowerPoint. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Resume must include degree earned (major & minor) graduation month & year relevant employment dates including month and year and populations served.
