The Payroll Time & Benefits ( PTB) Team focuses on payroll benefits absence management customer service and advisory support to employees managers and business partners ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.
The opportunity
As a Payroll Time & Benefits Senior Specialist you are responsible for executing HR system data maintenance and administrative activities in a timely and accurate manner in support of P&C business processes in the area of payroll tax national insurance time and several local and global benefits. You are also contributing to the continuous improvement of the P&C People Support Solutions delivery through analysis of the interactions and collaboration with other P&C functions.
Executing HR system data maintenance and administrative tasks in payroll tax national insurance time and benefits
Managing processing and reconciling mass upload files for all pay frequencies
Providing customer service on pay time and benefits related activities
Addressing inquiries managing requests and troubleshooting issues related to payroll time and benefits
Monitoring data flows to/from Workday to Vendors for accuracy
Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
Initiating and contributing to process improvements and maintaining relevant documentation and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer-focused outcomes
Who you are
2-5 years of experience in payroll services - experience in UK payroll would be an advantage
Knowledge of payroll cycle and processes /benefits operations and processes a deep understanding of local tax and national insurance
Knowledge of Workday P&C (HR) Processes and P&C generalist know-how
Excellent attention to detail analytical ability and advanced Excel skills (pivot table v-lookup)
English strong communication skills both written and spoken are essential
