Avesta Holding BV formerly Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering is a rapidly growing battery technology company expanding its operations across Belgium and the EU. Located in Ninove East Flanders located between Brussels and Ghent just off the highway E40 we are transitioning from research and development to full-scale production and recycling. As we grow we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join our innovative team.
Who Were Looking For
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or this role you will support our financial operations and reporting activities working closely with the Finance Manager and broader team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and eager to grow within a dynamic environment. Familiarity with accounting software is essential and good knowledge of Odoo is considered a strong plus. Your contribution will be key to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the companys financial health.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies
- Recording daily transactions and invoices
- Clear and reconcile banking transactions
- Support on preparation of monthly and annual closings
- Have a big impact in the accounting reporting and budgeting process
Language skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) essential for daily communication and documentation.
- Proficiency in Dutch and French is highly desirable to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a multicultural environment.
