Are you ready to take ownership of one of the most high-profile accounts in the electric vehicle industry My client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead the relationship with Tesla one of their most strategically important customers.
My client is a globally active Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive supplier known for delivering lightweight engineered components that support advanced vehicle development. With a strong focus on innovation speed-to-market and sustainability they have become a trusted partner to several major OEMs especially in the EV sector.
As the dedicated Account Manager for Tesla you will be the central point of contact between the customer and internal teams. Success in this role requires quick thinking strong relationship-building skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced technically demanding environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and developing the Tesla account ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment
Collaborating closely with engineering commercial and program teams to meet Teslas expectations
Regular travel to customer locations in North America including sites in Mexico
Based in Troy with flexibility for occasional remote work and travel as needed
Experience managing Tesla or similar EV-focused OEMs
A proven track record in account management within the automotive sector
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel regularly to maintain strong customer relationships
Base salary of $130000
