Requirements: The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. from anaccredited college or university in neurosciences psychology biomedicalengineering or other related fields. Ideal candidates will have one to three(1-3) years of relevant experience in clinical neuroimaging research orequivalent combination of training and experience. Previous experience inneuroimaging research or research related to substance abuse HIV braindevelopment or aging is preferred. Workingknowledge of statistical analysis software for imaging processing of structuraland functional MRI data (e.g. SPM FSL Freesurfer MRIStudio) is highlydesirable.

Description: Applicants are invited for a post-doctoral researcherposition within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at theUniversity of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. The selected candidate will be involved inNIH-funded clinical neuroimaging research studies to choose from but notlimited to studies on longitudinal brain development (e.g. the ABCD study)substance use disorders and neuro-HIV/ will be provided to learn about clinical researchbehavioral assessments cognitive rehabilitation as well as various translationalresearch skills including advanced image processing or novel imagingtechniques with our collaborators at Johns Hopkins University School ofMedicine. Writing manuscripts andapplying for independent research grants will be strongly encouraged.
