Job Description
Capital One is seeking a motivated professional for a Senior Manager position in Commercial Banking Finance.
This Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analytics will be responsible for:
Building analytical tools and data visualizations for econometric modeling output
Taking a lead role in Commercial to Treasury and Capital Workstreams
Owning data standardization & AI Intent for Commercial Finance
This role has several opportunities to create value and meaningful impact for the Commercial Business and Capital One including:
Drive strategic insights and narratives
Architect analytical frameworks
Partner with our Commercial Central and forecasting teams to develop a deep understanding of balance and P&L drivers of performance
Influence standardization & AI Intent
A successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership problem solving strategic thinking and influencing skills in order to effectively:
Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to optimize the organization
Develop presentations and effective messaging to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis
At least 7 years of experience with financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters Degree in Finance
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
9 years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
5 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
4 years of experience in business analysis
2 years of people management experience managing both direct and indirect reports
2 years of experience with SQL or Python
1 year of experience in Googles G Suite (Slides Sheets Docs etc.)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $170800 - $194900 for Sr Manager Financial AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
