Job Description
Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Location: San Antonio TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
- Develop implement and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality.
- Monitor plant personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Lead SQF Food Safety and Quality program implementation verification and validation.
- Prepare for and support audits from USDA FDA Health Department customer auditors and third-party certifiers.
- Conduct release inspections on raw materials in-process products and finished goods.
- Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage QA programs including calibration preventive maintenance sanitation supplier approval pest control allergen control and environmental/product testing.
- Supervise train and evaluate QA/QC staff ensuring adequate coverage and continuous development.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations customer requirements and BRC standards.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to Sr. QA Manager for quality improvements.
- Support cross-functional teams with technical assistance and customer complaint resolution.
