Job Description
Job Title: Technical PM - AWS Cloud Migration
Location: Manhattan NY
Duration: Fulltime / Contract
Term: 12 months
Job Description:
Experience Desired: 14 Years.
14 plus years of IT Infrastructure experience
- Have successfully delivered 2 3 major cloud migrations in enterprise environments
- Experienced in programs involving 5000 servers and 100 applications
- Skilled in managing multi-year initiatives with phased delivery and rolling waves
- Strong exposure to global deployments across multiple AWS regions
- Combine deep technical knowledge with proven program management execution
- Capable of engaging C-level executives with clear confident reporting
- Strong leadership stakeholder management and cross-team coordination skills
What Youll Be Doing:
- Develop migration roadmap timelines and resource allocation across multiple waves
- Present program status risks and decisions to C-level stakeholders
- Manage and control $10 15M program budget and vendor contracts
- Identify assess and mitigate technical and business risks
- Work with migration platform team for deployment and maintenance
- Coordinate integration between client infrastructure application security and network teams
- Establish standardized migration factory processes tools and automation
- Define and enforce technical quality gates for wave completion and go-live Leverage migration tools and Application Discovery Service
- Apply knowledge of AWS services EC2 VPC RDS S3 Lambda ECS/EKS
- Sequence workload migrations based on dependencies and business priorities and Manage resources across technical teams vendors and platform teams
- Drive resolution of technical impediments and cross-team conflicts and enforce adherence to security compliance and architectural standards
- Align migration priorities with business objectives and minimize disruption to drive adoption of new processes tools and operating models and facilitate communication between technical and business teams
