Our Client in the Construction Support industry is seeking a meticulous and proactive Project Coordinator to support a dynamic portfolio of construction-related projects. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with strong financial administration skills and a collaborative mindset. This position is based in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and submit project invoices with precision and timeliness (5-day turnaround).
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation across platforms.
- Implement and refine filing and invoicing procedures to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Liaise independently with contractors consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Support project leaders with invoice tracking submission and audit-related queries.
- Ensure zero rejection rate on invoice submissions and contribute to monthly cashflow targets.
- Accurate complete and compliant invoice submissions.
- Timely escalation of project-related issues.
- Operational decision-making within scope of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in project coordination or financial administration.
- Exposure to construction contracts (JBCC NEC) and accounting practices is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear articulate communication.
- Resilience under pressure and deadline-driven focus.
- Ethical conduct and procedural discipline.
- Goal-oriented with a drive for excellence.
