Description
As a Senior Business Analyst you will lead the review of business processes to gain a complete understanding of current procedures identify improvements document processes and help communication between the business program and technology sides of the organization. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is involved with setting standards for ensuring business processes can be performed innovatively when working with internal or external software applications. You will report to the Director of Business Solutions and work a hybrid schedule which will require on site work in our Albany New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the electronic health record systems and responsible for coordinating changes and configurations
- Monitor security profiles on multiple systems
- Work directly with Quality Management on security reviews audits and procedures
- Preferred experience with Netsmart myEvolv
- Lead projects and latest applications while work with administrators to manage active projects and associated tasks
- Compile and maintain documentation for program staff training and support
- Manage participation in local and regional electronic health record user groups
- Maintain data analytics and reporting platforms to provide agency staff with easy access to requested information
- Coordinate and participate in testing processes with the client departments
- Communicate with external vendors and other teams
- Gather analyze and document user requirements through interviews workflow observation and partner workshops.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for EHR configuration and enhancements.
- Apply project management practices to define scope timelines deliverables and resources for EHR initiatives.
- Facilitate requirements traceability to ensure approved needs carry through to compliance testing and validation.
- Develop and deliver training customized to diverse staff roles supporting adoption of new or updated EHR functionality.
- Provide ongoing user support to address operational issues with quick-reference guides training materials and FAQs.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews with stakeholders to confirm requirements are met and identify improvements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements and Education:
- High school diploma/GED required Bachelors degree preferred.
- 7 years of IT business systems analysis experience required.
