Head of Construction Nordics

The opportunity

We are creating a new position to support our growth plan in the Construction business area.

This will provide you with a chance to be part of a successful organisation with strong growth ambitions combined with the entrepreneurial spirit of a medium local size company.

The position can be based in Stockholm or Copenhagen.

Your new role

  • Support the development of the annual business plan for the portfolio and ensure its delivery.

  • Perform complex underwriting activities following legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish and strengthen strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of market dynamics to enhance business performance.

  • Continually develop expertise and technical knowledge through appropriate learning activities.

  • Underwrite insurance risks to meet business objectives including negotiating terms and compliance.

  • Ensure accurate recording and measurement of insurance risks.

  • Manage resources across the team to achieve business requirements.

  • Motivate and develop the team through good leadership behaviours.

  • Manage performance in line with performance processes.

Your profile

  • Solid experience in Construction Underwriting

  • High level of written and spoken English

  • Good communicator with strong facilitation influencing and negotiation skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships

  • Technical report writing skills
