Head of Construction Nordics
The opportunity
We are creating a new position to support our growth plan in the Construction business area.
This will provide you with a chance to be part of a successful organisation with strong growth ambitions combined with the entrepreneurial spirit of a medium local size company.
The position can be based in Stockholm or Copenhagen.
Your new role
Support the development of the annual business plan for the portfolio and ensure its delivery.
Perform complex underwriting activities following legal and regulatory requirements.
Establish and strengthen strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of market dynamics to enhance business performance.
Continually develop expertise and technical knowledge through appropriate learning activities.
Underwrite insurance risks to meet business objectives including negotiating terms and compliance.
Ensure accurate recording and measurement of insurance risks.
Manage resources across the team to achieve business requirements.
Motivate and develop the team through good leadership behaviours.
Manage performance in line with performance processes.
Your profile
Solid experience in Construction Underwriting
High level of written and spoken English
Good communicator with strong facilitation influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
Technical report writing skills
