GENERAL SUMMARY:
In this position youll work closely with HR leadership and the team to ensure HR operations run smoothly compliantly and with a focus on continuous improvement. The Manager HR Operations & Systems will own core HR processes and compliance requirements while also playing a major role in the execution of key HR programs including performance management talent acquisition learning & development and employee engagement. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee data stewarding HR systems driving automation and efficiencies and delivering analytics that provide insights into workforce trends. This role helps ensure both the HR team and the broader organization are set up for success.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR OPERATIONS:
- Own and continuously improve HR operations processes (onboarding offboarding employee changes documentation records management).
- Maintain and update SOPs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Partner with Finance IT and Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data and changes.
- Serve as point of contact for HR service requests escalating as needed.
- Regularly evaluate HR operations to identify opportunities for simplification standardization and improved employee experience.
HR COMPLIANCE:
- Own compliance activities across HR including policy administration record retention and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation meet requirements of SOX D&I federal/state laws and other regulations applicable to a publicly traded company.
- Conduct audits of employee files HR data and HR processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Finance IT and external vendors on compliance-related audits.
- Monitor and integrate new regulations and best practices into HR policies processes and the employee handbook.
HR TECHNOLOGY:
- Administer current HR systems including user access permissions and documentation.
- Ensure HR data accuracy integrity and compliance with SOX controls data privacy and record retention requirements.
- Partner with IT and vendors to maintain existing tools evaluate effectiveness and make incremental improvements where needed.
- Provide user support and training for HR systems to ensure adoption and consistency.
- Drive automation and process efficiencies within HR operations
- Identify areas of improvement with current HR systems to optimize utilization and efficiency through enhancements and integration of different tools.
- Explore and evaluate AI-powered HR technologies to automate tasks and improve data analysis collaborating with IT and HR partners to pilot solutions monitor effectiveness and recommend scalable integration.
HR PROGRAMS & ANALYTICS:
- Lead the operational and systems aspects of HR programs throughout the year including performance management talent acquisition processes learning & development and employee engagement initiatives.
- Partner with HR leadership and program owners to coordinate timelines communications and execution steps to ensure successful delivery.
- Train HR team members and employees on how to navigate and use HR systems and resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and monitor utilization to evaluate effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver HR analytics and reporting that provide insights into workforce trends headcount and program outcomes to inform decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate HR programs and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

- 6 years of progressive HR experience with strong emphasis on HR operations systems and compliance.
- 3 years of experience managing HR Operations is preferred.
- Experience supporting Sox compliance for a publicly traded company.
- Experience with one or more of the following tools a plus: Greenhouse Recruiting ChartHop Leapsome Nectar.
Other Qualifications/Skills:
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (maintenance data integrity user support).
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance requirements record retention and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and improve HR operations processes.
- Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and HR reporting.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to partner effectively across teams.
