Hourly Pay: $21.75 $23.00

Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM

We are looking for a passionate leader who thrives in guiding teams and creating a safe therapeutic environment.

Every day you will provide essential leadership and guidance to your team of youth mentors ensuring a nurturing atmosphere for both staff and residents. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations coordinating engaging activities responding to crises with confidence and maintaining open communication with parents and clinical teams. Through collaboration and intentional leadership you will play a crucial role in transforming lives while fostering personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Lodge Operations:Ensure smooth daily operations during your shift by adhering to procedures and safety plans creating a secure environment for staff and residents.
  • Lead and Support Staff:Supervise and mentor up to 5 employees providing guidance onboarding and training to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Design and Facilitate Activities:Craft and lead engaging activities that empower teens to develop coping skills empathy and responsibility through collaboration on daily tasks.
  • Contribute to Treatment Planning:Provide insightful feedback in treatment team meetings to shape individualized goals and interventions while utilizing Embarks therapeutic programs including de-escalation techniques and the CASA developmental framework.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance:Collaborate with leadership and the clinical team to effectively implement and follow through on safety plans in accordance with our comprehensive treatment model.
  • Participate in Rotating On-Call Duty: Serve as an on-call supervisor once every six weeks for one week providing support for staff and residents as needed.

Qualifications

  • Age:21 years or older
  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required; Associates or Bachelors degree in human services psychology criminal justice or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:Quick decision-making abilities and a growth mindset aligned with Embarks core values.
  • Experience:1-2 years of leadership experience preferred particularly in adolescent programs.
  • Certifications:CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training provided).
  • Background Checks:Must pass pre-employment drug screening and federal/state background checks in accordance with Missouri state laws.
