(Full-Time Exempt Position)

Inner City Law Center (ICLC) is a nonprofit law firm located in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles. We are looking for extraordinary people to help us end homelessness in Los Angeles. Founded on the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect ICLC fights for justice for low-income tenants working-poor families people who are disabled or experiencing homelessness people living with HIV/AIDS and homeless veterans.

Position Description: ICLC seeks a highly motivated Grant Accountant that will manage grant billings and allocations as well as other activities assigned within the Finance department. Reporting to the Controller the individual in this role should have experience with nonprofit grant accounting and confidently provide accurate and efficient support to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Manage the firms cost allocation plan execution and design needed updates.
Prepare monthly allocations for all expenditures for use in grant billing and reporting.
Track grant budget expenditures to ensure allowable spending.
Collaborate and communicate with program leads to ensure alignment on individual grant strategy.
Prepare and compile monthly invoices to funder specifications.
Enter and track income by program and campaign.
Manage funder relationships with support of Controller/ CFO.
Work closely with the Controller and CFO to evaluate systems processes and identify efficiencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Committed to equity diversity and racial justice. Bachelors degree with a minimum of three to five years experience with nonprofit grant accounting. Familiarity and comfortability with Microsoft Excel. Organized detail oriented and able to assume responsibility quickly and independently in a rapidly growing organization. Ability to use good judgment. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Innovative and solution oriented. Strong research writing and analytical skills. Must have access to reliable transportation.

Compensation: Annual compensation ranges from $85000 - $100000 per year and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits.
