Business Development Executive

About the Job

Were looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our dynamic team at Ingram Micro with a specific focus on the public sector in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving the digital transformation of government and public service organizations by introducing them to our industry-leading eSignature and contract lifecycle management solutions.

What you can expect to be getting up to as a Business Development Executive:

  • Channel Engagement: Actively engaging with Ingram Micros sales teams to identify qualify and develop new business leads.
  • Enablement & Training: Conducting training sessions both in person and online and providing resources to empower our partners to sell DocuSign solutions with confidence and expertise.
  • Joint Business Planning: Collaborating with Ingram Micros team to develop and execute joint marketing and sales plans that generate opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Tracking and reporting on the sales pipeline generated in our CRM ensuring we meet and exceed our targets.

In order to set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:

Were looking for an individual with a strong foundation in channel sales and a deep understanding of the technology distribution ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a hunter mentality. You must have:

  • Public Sector Experience: A proven track record of selling to or working with government healthcare education or other public sector organizations. You understand the unique procurement processes and sales cycles in this market.
  • Previous Channel Experience: A proven track record of working with and through channel partners such as distributors or resellers. Experience in a similar role with a technology vendor or distributor is highly advantageous.
  • Sell-Through Model Knowledge: A solid understanding of the sell-through business model and the ability to leverage it to drive partner success and increase sales.
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build strong lasting relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: A persistent and resilient approach to achieving sales targets and driving channel growth
