Anonymous Employee Survey Response About the Role Were looking for a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our collaborative perioperative care this role youll provide advanced care in two Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) centers and on inpatient units ensuring safe and patient-centered surgical outcomes. This is a full-time position with a 4x10 schedule and rotating weekday off. Saturday coverage is required approximately every 5 weeks averaging 6 hours and is paid at a premium hourly rate in addition to your base salary. Key Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments for surgical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Conduct inpatient pre- and post-anesthesia evaluations
- Participate in daily acute pain management rounds and consults
- Prepare and document anesthesia evaluations for upcoming surgical procedures
- Provide education to patients and families about anesthesia plans and recovery expectations
- Order and interpret labs diagnostics and imaging
- Work collaboratively with anesthesia physicians and perioperative teams to coordinate care
- Assist in discharge planning and pain management follow-up
- Promote patient safety satisfaction and surgical optimization
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications - Masters or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia
- NP candidates must be ACNP or AGACNP certified
- PA candidates must hold current NCCPA certification
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required (or obtained within 1 year of hire)
- Strong communication teamwork and patient education skills
- Must be empathetic adaptable and committed to patient satisfaction
- Comfortable in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements - Lift push or pull 3675 lbs occasionally; 1035 lbs frequently
