About the opportunity
Provide quality resident-focused and utilising a person-centred approach
Effectively supervise residents care
Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families
Undertake personal care and engaging residents with lifestyle activities

To thrive in this role you will have:
At Mercy Health each moment no matter how small truly matters - and as a Personal Care Assistant youll make a genuine difference when its needed the most.
Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health
Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care
Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information
Preferred availability during the evening overnight and weekends.
Excellent clinical time management organisational and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of or in the process of obtaining:
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
A current NDIS Workers Screening check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
