UCP Central PA is seeking caring individuals and families who want to make a lasting difference by welcoming an adult with an intellectual disability into their home. Lifesharing isnt just a programits an opportunity to share your household your routines and your family life with someone who will become part of it.
As a Lifesharing Provider you are not only supporting someones daily needsyou are inviting them into your home as a valued family member. You will:
- Provide day-to-day care including assistance with personal needs such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting if needed.
- Support and encourage participation in family activities hobbies and community outings.
- Facilitate medical appointments prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding (if necessary).
- Maintain supervision complete required documentation and follow state regulations.

As an independently contracted Lifesharing provider you must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for these independent contractor opportunities must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation
- Hold valid vehicle insurance and homeowners/rental insurance
- Pass a background check
Prior experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or autism is preferred but NOT required.
