Who You Are
Youare an organized self-starter that manages multiple projects with ease while maintaining best practices that others can follow. You have a strong technical accounting background and are looking to broaden your experience and knowledge base by working with clients in the small business startup and non-profit spaces. You are an exceptionally strong communicator and often find yourself taking on leadership roles. You make a point to proactively identify roadblocks and pitch in wherever necessary to ensure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied. You get a strong sense of satisfaction from helping clients organize and understand their business while ensuring all deliverables are met on time and on budget.
The Position
We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and is expected to cover a wide range of responsibilities for clients. Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Compiles financial data to aid more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs revenues financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
