Reporting directly to our Global Product Director-Aerospace Sealants you will shape the future growth of aerospace sealants. Responsibilities:
Manage project planning timelines and deliverables for the ongoing qualification of Aerospace sealant products as part of modernization projects at Mojave CA and Shelby NC manufacturing plants.
Provide leadership to Strategic Marketing/Platform Science and Technology (S&T) Global Advanced Manufacturing Technology (GAMT) and operation teams to ensure successful project execution and completion.
Collaborate with quality assurance ensuring compliance with customer specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate to derisk raw material obsolescence and reduce impact on product qualifications.
Be the primary point of contact for customers on project updates.
Facilitate meetings with our teams and customers to discuss project status challenges and next steps; and ensure customer qualification expectations and specifications are understood and met.
Present project updates and reports to senior management and other partners.
Identify potential risks take corrective actions to reduce risks and ensure timeline adherence
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business Engineering or a related technical field.
5 years as a Project Manager or 8 years in a Project Management capacity in Aerospace or similar.
Experience managing complex projects in a manufacturing or product commercialization environment.
Experience collaborating with both technical and business leaders customers with a customer-engangement mentality.
Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project Zoho Teamwork etc..)
PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
Travel up to 20%.
