Job Summary
MLL TeacherMust have appropriate RI teacher certification or be eligible to obtain that certification:All Grades English to Speakers of Other Languages Teacher Grades PK-12Requirements: 1. Valid Rhode Island Certification as an MLL Educator.2. Three years of successful classroom teaching.3. Understanding of second language acquisition.4. Knowledge of current trends in instructional strategies curriculum development and evaluation techniques for MLL students.5. Knowledge of Chapter 16-54 and other regulations pertaining to the education of students with limited English proficiency.6. Must be computer literate.7. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
