Scrum Master

We are looking for a dynamic professional with experience in both Scrum Master and Business Analysis responsibilities. This individual will split their time equally between facilitating Agile processes and analyzing business requirements to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This hybrid role is ideal for someone passionate about Agile delivery and business process improvement. This individual will lead Agile ceremonies and remove impediments while also supporting product development through thoughtful business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

• Function as team leader responsible for understanding the big development picture and ensuring that the team is following the WTW planning and Scrum process.
• Facilitate and lead all scrum meetings (Planning daily scrum and refinement). Shielding the team from interruptions.
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory practices and guidelines.
• Helps resolve team impediments.
• Responsible for leading a team in determining milestone timelines.
• Responsible for negotiating and communicating timelines status and risks to leadership.
• Monitors team progress and performance metrics to support ongoing improvements and effective communication.
• Foster strong and cohesive teams. Foster trust and collaboration across all team members to work as one unit. Assist teams resolving destructive conflict.
• Naturally able to share lessons learned and best practices with others build relationships with stakeholders and broker relationships at all levels.
• Assist teams and leaders in executing agile practices in a way that leads to continuous improvement.
• Energetic and positive and you take pride in your ability to bring structure to inherently complex working environments.
• Analyze and document business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to backlog refinement and roadmap planning.
• Serve as a backup of PO in triaging of prod support issues.

The Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and business analysis focused on software development.
• Agile Methodology experience.
• Familiarity with common Agile practices service-oriented environments and better development practices as well as other methodologies that will allow you to coach the team on effective techniques.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative development as well as backlog tracking burndown metrics velocity and task definition.
• Proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes.
• History of delivering strong results in large scale/complex software development projects.
• Experience working with distributed software development products and teams.
• Demonstrated Ability to lead cross functional teamwork in and across teams and organizations.
• Strong verbal written interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop project plans manage individual deadlines and goals including project metrics and dashboards.
• Direct management of projects and their outcomes rather than passively collecting and reporting metrics.
• Strong ability to identify risks issues and dependencies early.
• Quickly facilitates mitigation plans alternative approaches and communication of risks.
