HACH has many years of experience in working with water boards and drinking water companies in the Netherlands. Together these customers form the municipal water market which comprises the total water needs of households in the Netherlands. Do you have what it takes to develop initiatives to expand our customer relationships And do you have the drive to look for potential new markets within your area These are exactly the characteristics we are looking for in our new Field Sales Engineer for Municipal Middle Netherlands.

As a technical sales professional you will be responsible for achieving goals for the sale of water analysis systems in your area. As a Field Sales Engineer you will work with your customers to find the best solution for the water analysis challenges that our customers experience. The water analysis systems you sell are used for measuring and controlling with the aim of optimising water processes.

In this role a typical day will look like:

• You will provide technical advice to our customers with measurement solutions in the field of water treatment wastewater and water quality from measuring instruments in the laboratory to process control.
• You will make visits to customers production and handling facilities to actively support them in solving daily problems laboratory and in-line process measurements
• You participate in tendering procedures in your field it is not uncommon to come across tenders.
• You will take care of the development of the business area regular monitoring of the development of the potential using CRM tools management of the company database.
• You are responsible for the management and implementation of projects and the design and implementation of action plans.
• You actively participate in trade fairs and seminars for customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Education at HBO level e.g. chemical technology process environment measurement and control technology food technology
• Several years of experience in a commercial-technical position with demonstrable affinity for new or current contracts.
• Experience with water analyses and/or water purification systems
• Drivers license B within your area you will be on the road 3 out of 5 days.
• Fluent in Dutch language good command of the English language

Als technisch sales professional heb je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het realiseren van doelstellingen voor de verkoop van wateranalysesystemen in jouw regio. Als Field Sales Engineer ga je samen met je klanten zoeken naar de beste oplossing voor wateranalyse-uitdagingen die onze klanten ervaren.

De wateranalysesystemen die je verkoopt worden ingezet voor het meten en regelen met als doel het optimaliseren van de komende jaren zal er veel veranderen op het gebied van wet en regelgeving dit zal zonder twijfel een impact hebben op het werk van HACH. Wat het precies gaat betekenen ga jij waarschijnlijk als een van de eersten merken.

In deze functie zul je de volgende taken uitvoeren:

• Je geeft technisch advies aan onze klanten met meetoplossingen op het gebied van waterbehandeling afvalwater en waterkwaliteit van meetinstrumenten in het laboratorium tot procesbesturing.
• Je doet bezoeken aan de productie en behandelingsfaciliteiten van klanten om hen actief te ondersteunen bij het oplossen van dagelijkse problemen laboratorium- en in-line procesmetingen
• Je neemt deel aan aanbestedingsprocedures in jouw vakgebied is het niet ongebruikelijk om aanbestedingen tegen te komen.
• Je draagt zorg voor de ontwikkeling van het bedrijfsgebied regelmatige monitoring van de ontwikkeling van het potentieel met behulp van CRM-tools beheer van de bedrijfsdatabase.
• Je draagt zorg voor beheer en uitvoering van projecten en ontwerp en uitvoering van actieplannen.
• Je neemt actief deel aan beurzen en seminars voor klanten.

De essentile vereisten van de baan zijn onder meer:

• opleiding op HBO-niveau bijvoorbeeld chemische technologie proces- milieu- meet- en regeltechniek levensmiddelentechnologie of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• enige jaren ervaring in een commercieel-technische functie met aantoonbare affiniteit voor nieuwe of lopende contracten.
• ervaring met wateranalyses en/of waterzuiveringssystemen is een plus
• Rijbewijs B binnen je gebied ben je 3 van de 5 dagen onderweg.
• uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal goede beheersing van de Engelse taal
