Role Description
The COO team at Morgan Stanley Research is looking for a strong data analyst in Mumbai. This role will play a critical part in driving operational efficiency supporting analyst performance evaluation and enhancing client engagement strategies. The position combines strong analytical skills technical expertise and stakeholder management to deliver meaningful insights and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the equity research department.
Responsibilities:
- Design analyze and generate reports for metrics pertaining to research analysts and clients
- Track and report on broker vote data client interactions marketing activity monthly trends team resourcing and overall commerciality
- Provide analysis leveraging the research interest model to help target institutional clients for marketing and business development efforts
- Collaborate with team members and cross-divisional stakeholders
- Oversee assistants who complete process driven tasks within COO team
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in relevant roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel PowerPoint Business Objects etc.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills; able to decompose complex problems and projects into manageable pieces; comfortable suggesting and presenting solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional accuracy in data analysis reporting and process management.
- Candidates should be analytical insightful detail-oriented and collaborative
