About the role

Kickstart your career in a vital industry by joining our Water & Waste Services team as a trainee! While completing a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations youll gain hands-on experience in water treatment distribution and wastewater processes across the Citys infrastructure. Under expert guidance youll assist with system operations maintenance inspections and troubleshooting. This is a unique opportunity to build technical skills contribute to essential community services and grow into a qualified water industry professional.

The start date for this traineeship is flexible (e.g. 2026) depending on the circumstances of the successful candidate.

About you

To be successful in this role youll need to have completed Year 12 or equivalent hold a Class C (or Provisional) drivers licence and possess a White Card. Basic skills in Microsoft Office the ability to work well in a team and a willingness to work outdoors will help you thrive in this hands-on practical role.
