Job Summary

Status: Full Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of position: Billing Administrative Assistant will support and assist Cost Accountants throughout the invoicing process ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all billing operations and will perform administrative tasks for the Lead Cost Accountant and Cost Reimbursement Manager. This role requires strong attention to detail excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a billing assistant or in similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Strong knowledge and use of Excel is very important.
  • Good investigation skills problem-solving skills basic accounting math and software skills.
  • Strong communication skills proactive approach with willingness to work independently and as part of a team
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to work in an environment where compliance with processes and procedures is paramount.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and organization skills
  • Data entry with attention to detail and accuracy while entering alpha-numeric data.
  • Must be an organized self-starter highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Must be personable able to effectively communicate with clients and all staff types and be able to interact in a service-oriented environment.
