Job Summary
This is a high visibility role where you will drive firmware quality by creating and executing tests to ensure the customer experience with Apple products. Our team ensures that the different functional parts of the system are fully tested and quality is built in. You will identify reproduce and isolate bugs in automated structured and open styles of testing.
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering field with minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance
- Past job experience working with firmware
- Validated ability to apply strong QA fundamentals solving and analytical skills to identify track and drive resolution of HW/SW issues across multi-functional teams
- B.S. or Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrates QA skills with at least 2 complete consumer electronics product cycles from inception to first customer shipment
- Strong advocate for quality with good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
- Experience / familiarity with hardware and software interaction for embedded systems
- Working knowledge of Bluetooth protocols and/or audio digital signal processing
- Proven experience leading or managing team
- Experience handling a lab environment and contractors
- Strong communication skills
- Self directed analytical and work well in a large cross-functional environment
- Ability to program or script in Python or other significant programming languages. (C Objective C Ruby JavaScript etc.)
