The eCommerce department is recruiting an eCommerce Business Development Manager to join the International Third Parties team and be at the forefront of our global growth! The International eCommerce team fuels global growth by managing and optimising online product sales across 72 international markets. They drive exciting product launches strategic promotions and collaborate with leading third-party platforms to maximise sales and brand visibility worldwide.

About the Role:

As the eCommerce Business Development Manager within the International Third Parties team you will play a pivotal role in driving international sales and ensuring the continuation of new business via third party platforms. You will be responsible for identifying & negotiating with new partners for the Next Group - youll be talking with the biggest & best marketplaces / retailers around the globe ensuring that the partner is the right fit for the Next Group and its a profitable venture.

What else is involved

  • Evaluate and quantify new marketplace opportunities including market size growth potential and competitive landscape forNext Group focusing on growing our international business outside of Europe.
  • Assess potential partners to ensure they are the right strategic and brand fit for the business.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations with external partners ensuring favorable terms aligned with both commercial and Next Group priorities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholdersincluding finance product legislation operations and legalto review and approve contracts ensuring alignment across the organisation.
  • Conduct profitability and margin analysis with the finance team to ensure a sustainable profitable business outcome.
  • Develop and maintain a structured business development pipeline reporting regularly on progress.
  • Prioritise the most commercially valuable opportunities focusing resources on partners with the greatest potential for profitability and scale.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the companys marketplace growth strategy ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • You will be the key contact and relationship owner for all new third parties and will be able to build a bond and trust meaning you can have open and honest communication as well as being able to negotiate on Nexts behalf.

About You:


  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to prioritise the most profitable and strategically significant opportunities.
  • Brand sensitivity and a keen eye for ensuring partnerships align with Next Groups values and positioning.
  • Collaborative decision-maker who can influence align and build consensus across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive resourceful and resilient in managing complex negotiations and competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset capable of identifying and capitalising on new opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success in business development with prior experience in e-commerce online marketplaces or digital platforms.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with experience in profitability modeling opportunity sizing and commercial due diligence.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and execute high-value contracts with cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels including the ability to deliver compelling pitches.
  • Highly organised detail-oriented and able to operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.
