Job Description

At Noda were building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter faster and safer. Were now looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team and help drive the next wave of fintech innovation.
Your mission:
- Draft and maintain policies procedures and controls to manage compliance risks arising from the companys business activities.
- Assist with the onboarding process with banking partners including activities such as completing application forms and participating in compliance calls.
- Monitor and report on regulatory (UKEU) developments and advise management on the impact of changes in regulations on the business.
- Conduct ongoing compliance risk assessments and provide recommendations for remediation where necessary.
- Create internal and external reports on compliance-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
- Report directly to Chief Compliance Officer/MLRO.
- Other tasks related to compliance matters.
What are your skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Compliance Officer within the FinTech banking or broader financial services sector.
- Solid understanding of UK and EU regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services (e.g. FCA regulations AML/CTF PSD2 MiFID II).
- Strong knowledge of compliance risk assessment and monitoring frameworks.
- Familiarity with banking and financial products payment services and digital finance solutions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in compliance and reporting activities.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with the ability to identify potential compliance gaps and propose solutions.
- Excellent self-organisation and independence with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity when handling sensitive regulatory matters.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external regulators.
