Are you passionate about precision compliance and financial clarity At Evitec Solutions our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting the companys strategic growth across the Nordics. Were now looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join us in Espoo and help drive operational excellence and financial integrity.
Your Role in Finance
As a Senior Accountant you will be a key contributor to our financial processes ensuring accuracy in reporting compliance with Finnish/local regulations and continuous improvement across our finance operations. Youll collaborate closely with our Senior Financial Controller and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable financial insights and maintain robust financial controls.
Focus
- Manage daily accounting operations: accruals cash flow liquidity and more complex reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports. Ensure compliant monthly revenue recognition and closing of books periodically.
- Ensure compliance with local Accounting Standards IFRS and Group accounting policies.
- Prepare and submit VAT income tax filings statistical and regulatory reports.
- Collaborate with third-party accounting firms for local compliance and reporting.
- Drive audit preparation and ensure audit-readiness of documentation.
- Accounting process development.
Required Skills
- Applicable finance degree minimum 5 years of accounting experience - Ideally in an international group environment with emphasis in Finland plus preferably Sweden and potentially Estonia.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting Finnish Accounting Standards and tax compliance.
- Solid understanding of IFRS reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and applicable accounting ledger tool; experience with procountor and/or severa a plus.
- Independent flexible can-do attitude alongside team play collaboration.
- Native/Fluency in Finnish and English (both written and spoken) Swedish a strong plus.
