About the Position Position/Specialty: CST (Vascular/Dialysis) Shift: Monday-Friday start time will be 7:30 a.m. - End times will vary based on the day of the week/patient schedule and whether or not CST is scheduled as the late CST which means they stay until the last case of the day finishes. Most days the cases end by 4:30 Monday Thursday and we try to end by noon on Friday but this is not guaranteed! We will try to keep hours limited to 36 hours/week. Types of Cases: Mostly vascular- dialysis grafts fistulas angiograms declots graft excisions. Also PD placements (laparoscopic) catheter placements catheter exchanges Is on-call REQ (Y/N): No Weekend REQ: No weekends Will this traveler float between service lines (Y/N) Yes if needed Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years of CST experience First time travelers accepted: (Y/N) Yes if they are proficient in vascular/dialysis cases National Certs REQ: BLS NBSTSA. MUSC does NOT accept NCCT Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
