Engagement Manager ML & Credit Modeling
San Francisco CA Hybrid
Were seeking a hands-on Engagement Manager to lead machine learning & credit modeling initiatives for a leading Banking/FinTech client. This role blends applied ML domain expertise and team leadership.
What Youll Do

Lead ML model development from exploration feature engineering validation production.

Manage regulatory model documentation and respond to validation team queries.

Partner with business leaders to solve credit collections and fraud challenges with ML.

Mentor junior scientists and engineers on best practices and MLOps.

Promote innovation by evaluating emerging ML frameworks and publishing internal research.
What Were Looking For
-
8 years in applied ML within banking/financial services.

Strong Python SQL and ML libraries (Scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch).

Familiarity with MLOps (MLflow Kubeflow Docker/Kubernetes).

Banking lifecycle knowledge: underwriting collections fraud ethical AI.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
