Job Summary:
This Physical Therapist position involves providing outpatient pediatric care as well as care to patients in hospital inpatient swing bed long-term care and outpatient settings. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience and involves a 5x8-day work schedule with guaranteed hours. The facility provides housing and a vehicle for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities:
- Providing physical therapy services to a predominantly outpatient pediatric population.
- Treating patients across various settings including hospital inpatient swing bed long-term care and outpatient clinics.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Assessing patient needs and progress.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- One year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in outpatient acute care and/or long-term care/skilled nursing facility settings.
- Experience with pediatric patients.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of employment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in multiple settings (outpatient acute care LTC/SNF pediatrics).
Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- No floating between units.
- Block scheduling is possible.
- Facility provides housing (1-bedroom apartment no pets allowed) and a company vehicle (within a 30-mile radius for around town use only).
- Traveler must provide a valid drivers license and proof of insurance; personal vehicle insurance must include rental car coverage.
- Housing and vehicle are available 72 hours before and until 24 hours after the contract ends.
- Time off is approved individually.
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Former Providence employees must have a 3-month separation period.
- Pending licenses are accepted.
Scheduling:
- 5x8-day shifts.
- 70 guaranteed hours per two weeks.
- One 10-hour shift may be cancelled per two-week period.
