Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students in a juvenile correctional facility. The ideal candidate will supervise students in the classroom assist with assignments and maintain a positive learning environment. This role requires effective communication teamwork and the ability to implement lesson plans in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classroom activities and monitor student behavior.
- Assist students with assignments and ensure adherence to lesson plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive image of the facility.
- Collaborate with faculty and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Attend required training and complete certifications as necessary.
