About the Role:
CASS is a small but mighty company. We care about making a big impact quickly and we know it takes a cohesive supportive team to achieve our goals. You will serve as the primary recruiter for a larger charter district.
We are looking for a Recruiter to help hire substitute teachers for our partnered school districts within various cities within the state of Texas. We are looking to hire a candidate who has sales and/or recruiting experience that is comfortable interviewing and hiring at a high volume capacity to maintain our substitute pools.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct cold calling scheduled calling or network to identify potential candidates
- Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit for open positions
- Conduct interviews via phone call
- Manage job postings on various job boards and social media platforms
- Utilize social media management tools to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates
- Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms such as Excel Indeed etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Substitute Coordinators to understand their staffing needs
- Recruitment and hiring: Assisting school districts in the recruitment and selection process of substitute teachers/specialized recruitment (Sped Bilingual teachers)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively utilize cold calling techniques to source potential candidates
- Proficient in using social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Proficient in managing Indeed and Applicant Tracking Systems (School Spring and TalentEd by PowerSchool)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

- $20/hour and is commensurate upon experience and internal-equity.
- Monthly bonus available for hitting performance targets ($500)
