Job Description
Rate of Pay:
- $15.60 per hour
Job Terms:
- 7.25 hour per day
- 180 days per year
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Preferred but not required post high school education
- People skillsWell organized strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Some technology skills
- Ability to work well with students
Job Description:
- Elementary at-risk paraprofessional will work with students identified as at-risk on behavioral and literacy needs.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Review and understand needs of assigned students(s)
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment
- Assistance with personal care needs including but not limited to; personal hygiene and toileting
- Monitor students needs throughout the school day
- Assist students with lessons and assignments
- Monitor health needs if applicable
- Maintain confidentiality
- Daily record keeping of students needs
- Collaboration with special education and general education teachers
- Assist teacher in daily classroom needs
- Serve as an active participant in student/team meeting
