You will provide logistics support in UK & Europe region which would include arranging accurate shipping documentation follow-up with forwarders customs and ensuring logistics compliance in the region. This position will report directly to the Global Logistics & Customs Leader for Process & Pipeline Services.

As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Arranging and managing all logistics activities and related systems information both internationally and within the UK region.

  • Arranging required customs clearances shipping/receiving & packing activities as needed.

  • Liaising with PPS approved Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to attain best cost/service options for PPS shipments.

  • Using the PPS business system to generate the shipping documents for shipments.

  • Performing the record keeping of the logistics documentation as per the policy & procedures.

  • Ensuring a consistent planning of global site activities and work with multiple functions to implement proper long-term strategies to guarantee Projects flawless execution and continuously rejuvenate the Site Operations way of working.

  • Ensuring overall logistics compliance for PPS in the region.

  • Ensuring all customs entries are processed for imports & exports are processed compliantly and uploaded in Global Library timely.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors degree (or a high school diploma / GED).

  • Have good experience in logistics operations.

  • Have good working knowledge of principal modes of shipment; road sea and air.

  • Have very good international customs knowledge and experience.

  • Have considerable knowledge of INCOTERMS documentation and international customs requirements.

  • Have effective communication skills high self-organization project and schedule management problem solving of project roadblocks and relationship development with key stakeholders.

  • Be able to show a good working knowledge of Microsoft office
